Groups & clubs
Bringing people with you
One simulator, so a group is about managing time rather than needing more equipment. Three or four works fine as a walk-in. More than that, call ahead.
Formats that work
How a group session runs
Timed shootout
Same car, same circuit, three laps each, times on a board. About eight minutes a person, so six people fit inside an hour.
Open rotation
Everyone drives, nobody's counting. People talk while they wait, which is most of the point.
Car club visit
Chapters and owners' groups from across Southwest Florida. Call ahead and we'll keep the rig free when you arrive.
Academy Sim Racing · Tampa
Need everyone driving at once? That's Tampa.
One rig here means taking turns. The official Academy Sim Racing lounge in Tampa runs eight professional simulators — a 3DOF motion platform, triple-screen pro cockpits, a manual H-pattern rig and quick-start singles — so a whole group races together instead of queueing.

Motion GT
3DOF motion platform that reproduces braking dive, cornering roll and curb impacts. Triple 34-inch curved screens, direct-drive wheel, active pedals.

Pro Cockpit
Triple 32-inch curved screens with a direct-drive wheel and active pedals. The wide view without the motion premium.

Manual Cockpit
A real 6-speed H-pattern shifter with handbrake, direct-drive wheel and a 49-inch curved screen. Rally, drift or classic GT.

Single Race Rig
Direct-drive wheel, 49-inch curved screen and bass shakers. The easiest place to start and the fastest to get lapping.
Whole group at once
Full lounge buyout — all 8 rigs
Lock out the entire lounge with nobody else in the room. $249 for an hour, $449 for two. Birthdays, bachelor parties, car clubs and team outings. Private simulator time — we get everyone set up and running.
1421 Massaro Blvd, Tampa, FL. About two hours north of Bonita Springs on I-75 — worth it for a group, and the reason the free 30 minutes here exists.
Questions
Group questions
How many people can come?
There's one simulator, so it's about time rather than space. Three or four is an easy walk-in. More than that, call ahead.
Is it still free for a group?
Each person's first 30 minutes is free. With a larger group we may shorten turns so everybody drives.
Can we run a competition?
Yes — same car, same circuit, three laps each, fastest wins. Around eight minutes a person, so six people fit inside an hour.
Do we need to book?
There's no booking system, but for a group call ahead on (239) 992-0437 so nobody stands around.
Can a car club visit?
Yes. Clubs from Bonita Springs, Naples and Fort Myers already do. Call and we'll make sure the rig is free — and keep an eye on Instagram for shop events you could tie it to.
