Drive it free for 30 minutes
There's a professional racing simulator in the shop. Walk in during business hours, drive a real circuit for half an hour, pay nothing. You don't need a car in for service and you don't need to book.

How it works
Turn up and ask
No booking system, no deposit, no form. It's a walk-in.
Come in
Any time we're open, Monday to Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Free parking on site.
Ask for the sim
It's a working auto shop, so say what you're there for. Someone will walk you over.
Get set up
Seat, wheel and pedals adjusted to you. A forgiving car, a circuit that isn't trying to catch you out.
Drive 30 minutes
Free. If nobody's waiting when you're done, stay on. If there's a queue, the limit keeps it fair.
The equipment
Not a video game
Direct-drive force feedback — a motor pushes back against your hands with the forces the front tyres are actually generating. Load-cell brake pedal that responds to pressure, not travel. A fixed racing seat and laser-scanned circuits accurate down to the kerbs and bumps.
It's the same class of hardware professional drivers use to prepare for real race weekends. Built by Academy Sim Racing in Tampa.
- Direct-drive wheelbase with a formula-style rim and integrated display
- Simucube pedals — pressure-sensitive braking, not travel-based
- Curved ultrawide screen at racing eye level
- Fixed composite racing seat on an aluminium profile frame
- Laser-scanned circuits, hundreds of cars
- Monthly leaderboard across every Academy location in Florida

Reasons people sit down
You've always wanted a go
Most people have seen one and never sat in one. This costs you half an hour and nothing else.
You've got a track day coming
Learn the circuit, the braking points and the reference markers before you pay for track time.
Your car's on the lift
Already dropping a car off? Better than the waiting room. Ask at the counter.
You're planning a build
Feel what a setup change does before you commit to the parts. Then talk to us about doing it for real.
It's raining again
Southwest Florida afternoons. Air conditioned, indoors, no rain delay.
You brought friends
One drives, the rest watch the lap time and give unhelpful advice. See groups.

Single Race Rig

Whole group at once
Full lounge buyout — all 8 rigs
Lock out the entire lounge with nobody else in the room. $249 for an hour, $449 for two. Birthdays, bachelor parties, car clubs and team outings. Private simulator time — we get everyone set up and running.
1421 Massaro Blvd, Tampa, FL. About two hours north of Bonita Springs on I-75 — worth it for a group, and the reason the free 30 minutes here exists.

Want the rig in your own garage?
We host and run the simulator — we don't build it. Our partner Academy Sim Racing builds the professional rig we run, for homes, teams, academies and commercial venues. Drive one here first, then go spec yours.

Simulator questions
How do I book?
You don't. There's no booking system for the simulator — walk in during shop hours and ask. If you're driving a distance, call ahead on (239) 992-0437 to check the rig is free.
Is 30 minutes really free?
Yes, on your first visit. No purchase, no deposit, nothing to sign up for.
What happens after 30 minutes?
If nobody's waiting, you're welcome to keep going. If there's a queue, the 30-minute limit keeps it fair — one rig, one seat.
Do I need experience?
No. Most people who sit in it have never been on a racetrack. Someone sets it up, picks a forgiving car and an easy circuit, and stays with you for the first laps.
Is there an age limit?
Age requirement confirm. If you can reach the pedals and follow instructions, you can usually drive.
What can I drive?
Road cars through GT racers on laser-scanned circuits. Current car and track list confirm.
Can I bring people?
Yes — one drives, the rest watch the screen and the timing. For more than three or four, see groups and call ahead.
Will it make me faster in a real car?
For circuit driving, yes. Track layout, braking points, reference markers and vision all transfer, which is why racing drivers use simulators to prepare.
Is there a motion or triple-screen version?
Yes — at the official Academy lounge in Tampa. The family of rigs runs from this single-screen setup to triple-screen pro cockpits and a full 3DOF motion platform. Try it here free, then book the bigger rigs in Tampa.
Can I buy one?
Yes. Our partner Academy Sim Racing builds them — builds.academysim.com. Drive ours first, then spec yours.
